Rules & Guidelines To This Forum

Postby Admin » Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:46 am

If you're new here... Welcome!

You are going to love this friendly model train community.

However... There are rules to being a part of this community; most of which are common sense, but all must be strictly adhered to...

No Offensive Language
Admin will censor offensive language by deleting your post! Please refrain from using any offensive language. If you must express yourselves with harsh words, use ****. Note they must be all stars. eg. if 'face' was a swear word, f@ce, phace or even f*** will all result in the post being deleted.

Links to Other Sites
One link per post or signature is permitted, but must be relevant to your post. Links to dirty, disturbing or adult material is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate suspension. If you're not sure what I mean by this, ask a moderator before posting.

No 'Trolling'
Insults, harassment or discrimination are not allowed. If you have a problem with one of the forum users, please contact a moderator to discuss your issue.

Disruptive Posting
This is common sense, but please do not spam or post pointless topics or posts. This also includes pointlessly lengthened words, eg. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc. Posts should be in plain english. No AlTeRnAtIvE cApS, tawkin leik dis, text-speak etc. Simple abbreviations such as idk, lol, etc. are acceptable.

There is more than one board for a reason, and that is to keep every subject sorted. So please make sure you're in the right topic before posting! There will rarely be a punishment for this, except for a stern warning after repeated breaches.

One url is allowed within your signature. However one word or no word posts just to have your signature displayed repeatedly are not allowed and will be deleted.

I have no doubt that a large majority of the forum users here will abide by these rules. However any breaches will result in a warning and after 3 warnings your account will be suspended and/or a permanent ban.

These Rules and Guidelines are subject to change without notification.
